For 25 years, D’Arcy’s Animal Rescue Centre has been helping animals find safety, comfort, and loving homes. Along the way, we’ve built an incredible community of adopters, volunteers, donors, customers, staff, and animal lovers who have made this work possible.
As we celebrate this milestone, we’re excited to share something new.
D’Arcy’s Animal Rescue Centre has a refreshed look and a brand new website.
If you’ve been with us for a while, you might know that our logo has been with us since the very beginning. While our organization has grown and changed over the years, our visual identity remained largely the same. As we look ahead to the next 25 years, we felt it was time for a refresh that better reflects who we are today while staying true to the values and mission that got us here.
You will still see the familiar green that has become part of our identity, along with our beloved paw print. Those elements mean a lot to us and to the people who have supported D’Arcy’s over the years. Our new logo simply gives us a fresh way to tell our story moving forward.
Along with our updated brand, we’ve launched a new website at darcysarc.ca. We know that whether you’re looking to adopt, board your pet, shop for pet supplies, make a donation, volunteer, or simply learn more about our work, finding the information you need should be easy. The new site was built with that in mind, creating a more user-friendly experience for everyone who visits.
You may also start to notice our new look appearing throughout the shelter over the coming months. While some things will look a little different, the heart of D’Arcy’s remains exactly the same.

A heartfelt thank you to the team at Relish for making this transformation possible through their Community Grant program. From the very beginning, they understood what D’Arcy’s Animal Rescue means to our community. Their creativity, expertise, and patience helped bring this project to life while working alongside our dedicated team of volunteers.
We would also like to thank Heather of Silly Lil Studio for her thoughtful work in creating our new logo. Heather, who has volunteered with us in the past, took the time to understand who we are, what we stand for, and what matters most to our supporters. She managed to capture the spirit of D’Arcy’s while preserving the elements that have been part of our story for 25 years.

While our look may be changing, our commitment never will. Every adoption, every donation, every volunteer shift, every bag of pet food purchased, and every animal helped is part of a mission that continues because of people like you.
